Snakes Way
Soft thin clouds graced the skies during a comfortable early September morning near Wetmore Landing Beach, Marquette, Michigan on Lake Superior. I had spotted this strange rock formation a few days previous to this shot, I knew it would light up beautifully during sunrise. I woke up at 6AM the following five days to drive out to Wetmore Landing to set-up my gear. I was rewarded with this dynamic, glowing light on the fifth day. The snake like rock formation was bathed in the warm hues of sunrise light, contrasted by the cool hues of the water, making for an interesting mix of beauty. I hope you enjoy.
