Bonanza Falls

       Before entering the Porcupine Mountains State Park, I decided to venture out to an often overlooked water fall, Bonanza Falls. The falls really are not too impressive, however, the rock formations here most certainly are. Strange rocks peak out of the river as far as one can see. The display is subtle, but very beautiful. During fall, the earth toned rock complements the fall foliage very well. When rock, fall foliage, and flowing water meet, an inspiring landscape is the result, providing an amazing photographic opportunity. I wore waders into the river to capture the falls from unexplored angles. I am glad such a small investment can make such a large opportunity possible, It was amazing to witness such an area during the fall season, I can not wait to return.
