Gull Island and the Moon
During January 8th, the full moon was set to rise at around the same time the sun was setting. The soft light of the setting sun graced the tops of the clouds and added a touch of warm light to the Moon as well. Cool hues of twilight filled the sky, the lower part of the clouds also took on cool hues, all coming together to create a subtle yet dramatic pastel scene. Every element I was hoping to work with came perfectly together and far exceeded my hopes, as well as the image I had visualized in my 'Minds Eye.' I hope everyone enjoys this interesting photograph of the rising Moon.
