Curiosity
First a single fox kit comes out from its den to bathe in the warm sunlight. Later its sibling comes out to do the same and to waste some pent up energy by running around in the tall grass. The family of Foxes live only a short distance from my house. Northern Michigan is truly a stunning area. The den is located in an area that is relatively safe (away from a lot of traffic) and is quite easy to approach without disturbing the family what so ever. I hope these images make you smile the way I did when I was watching them and lets hope the Kits can make it through to adulthood.

Hi Julian...What sweet pix these are! I also loved the story behind your last blog post. Will be back in NP late tomorrow, 6/11. Had a great trip, but ready to be home to start summer. Karen
