Fall Gigarama
This unique combination of deciduous trees and spire like pines is found at the old Madison Greens golf course between Omena and Northport, MI. The only vantage point was a long way away so I was forced to use my 400mm prime lens and stitch a large Gigarama together to capture the spread of spires. The technique takes a bit of time, but it is most certainly worth the effort. The ending result is an image/file so large it can be printed to almost any imaginable size. I hope everyone enjoys, feedback and comments of any sort are welcome.
The final image is 24 separate photographs stitched together in PS, 12 long and 2 high.
Canon 7D, Canon 400 F5.6L, ISO 200, F/8, 1/200th of a second. Camera in vertical orientation.
