This photograph was captured the same night that 'Devil's Light' was. Robin and I had a few choice IPA's while waiting around for the twilight to dissipate and darkness to fall complete. We had to wait till then to begin the hour long process of this star trail. Over 100 photographs make up this single photograph. One was capture during twilight for the foreground and depth of field, the other 100 or so were taken once darkness was complete at a higher ISO and faster F/stop.
Canon 6D, Canon 24-105L (@45mm), ISO 100, F/11, 30 Seconds for Twilight photograph - ISO 640, F/4, 30 Seconds for the next 100 photographs for the 'Startrail.'
