Looking Back Through History

Newspaper Rock is an impressive petroglyph site located along Indian Creek in Southeastern Utah.  This panel displays multiple periods of rock art from cultures dating to 1500 years ago to this century.  The older art is attributed to the ancient Puebloan people who inhabited this region for approximately two thousand years, from 100 B.C. to 1540 A.D..

It was unbelievable to see this monument in person. The rock wall is bigger then you might expect. Robin and I felt as though we had traveled back in time when we looked upon this masterpiece of history. I hope everyone enjoys the view as much as we did.
