The half hour before and after sunrise/sunset is known as the Magic hour. The reason is because of the quality of light. Magic hours light qualities are high saturation, deep hues, very soft, yet directional light. When all of these factors come together the landscape is transformed into a scene that is so beautiful it is hard to explain. 'Centuries Past' was taken during twilight in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This area is the wildest in the park and is also the largest ghost forest in the park. I hope everyone enjoys. I always appreciate input of any kind.
