Fog on Wetmore Pond

Ethereal

During an early morning venture to Wetmore Pond, I witnessed fog rolling in thick. The fog provided an amazing opportunity to photograph the mood of this place during a fall morning. The air was cold, the water even colder, but the mood was quite the opposite. I felt welcomed here, The emergence of fall color from behind the wall of fog was purely exciting. Dew covered all of the flora and early morning lighting bathed everything in a warm soft light. I am looking forward to revisiting the area with my new waders once the leaves change just a bit more.
