Scott Falls and Diffraction

This was my last hooray for my Upper Peninsula trip. This is pretty much a mash up of most of the technical skills I know (Depth of Field Blending, Exposure Blending, Shutter Speed Blending and a Sunstar caused by Diffraction @ F/22).

This is Scott Falls, it's just outside of Munising, MI. It is truly one of the most elegant and interesting waterfalls to stand in front of, the side of or underneath. The fall colors were perfect and I had been planing on shooting at this area at this time for a while. The sun was in a perfect position to use the Sunstar as an interesting element to the composition. Enough blabbing, I hope everyone enjoys.

Canon 6D, Nikon 14-24 (@14mm), Novoflex Adapter, Fotodiox Pro 145mm CPL Filter, ISO 100, F/22, Blend of three photographs, one dual processed (becomes two photographs) for increased dynamic range and highlight detail, the other for the smooth flow of water and shadow detail.
