Manitou Blues

Large perfect sheets of ice stood stranded off the shores of Pyramid Point in a frozen lake Michigan. The transparency of the ice was unworldly, something you have to see to believe. Deep blues seemed trapped in the ice, from every angle the color was impressive.

I was fortunate to have great cloud cover and a glow from sunset that brushed the landscape with a soft light. I featured North Manitou Island off to the left on the horizon. I hope everyone enjoys!
